Before dredging or mineral extraction takes place the potential for archaeological remains must be assessed. Evidence relating to shipwrecks, lost aircraft,  prehistoric landscapes or pre-historic faunal remains such as mammoth teeth and bones are all important indicators of our past culture and represents our ancestors.
